Warranty and Return

To ensure you have the best possible sleep experience, we offer a one-time comfort exchange on most of the brands we carry. To qualify, you must sleep on your mattress for at least 30 nights to allow it to properly break in. If, after 30 days, you are not satisfied with the comfort of your original selection, simply contact us to begin the process for your one-time comfort exchange. The exchange must take place within 100 days of delivery/pick up, except where the manufacturer specifies a longer time frame. The customer will receive 100 percent credit of their original purchase toward the current ticketed price of the replacement mattress. The exchange must be of equal or greater value; no refunds will be given and they are responsible for any difference above and beyond the amount of your credit. The customer must pay a standard delivery fee, plus an additional $19.99 per piece removal fee upon exercise of all comfort exchange claims, regardless of value. Adjustable bases, pillows, protectors and frames are not eligible for comfort exchange. Please note that stained or torn mattresses are excluded from the comfort exchange.

Eligibility on the Comfort Guarantee Program for various products in our lineup applies to residents within 30 miles of our Mattress Warehouse locations. 

*Comfort Guarantee period varies from “up to 100 days” to “up to one year,” depending on the manufacturer.

*All mattress brands must be exchanged within 100 days, with the exception of Nectar. Nectar mattresses must be exchanged within 1 year.

Warranty Policy

Your new mattress is covered by an extensive warranty. Should your product fail in the warranty period, one of our Warranty Advocates will be happy to assist you in filing a claim and will work on your behalf with the manufacturer. We recommend the purchase of a mattress protector with every bed. A mattress protector has many benefits, including preserving your warranty should the bed become stained. Stained or torn bedding will void your warranty and eligibility for a comfort guarantee program exchange. To file a claim, visit or visit your local Mattress Warehouse.

If you feel your item(s) arrived in a damaged condition, please make note of the damage on the delivery ticket upon its arrival. Then, call us at 1-877-490-7511 so we may make arrangements for a quick and easy exchange.

All sales on Clearance merchandise are final. There are no returns or exchanges unless shipping-related damage has been noted at the time of delivery.

All merchandise must be paid-in-full prior to merchandise being ordered, scheduled for delivery, or picked up. Special and custom orders must be paid in full at the time of purchase. Special and custom orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of the order being paid-in-full. Financing is not available on special or custom orders.

If you decide to cancel your order after the products have been shipped but not yet arrived at your home, Mattress Warehouse reserves the right to assess both a 20 percent restocking fee and any freight charges that were incurred in shipping your order.

All refunds are processed from our main office within two weeks and can take up to an additional week to receive. Refunds for orders paid in cash or check will be made by check. Refunds for credit and debit cards will only be issued to the original card account on which the charge was initially made.

Extend provides coverage for your mattress against accidental damage such as rips, tears, punctures, and stains caused by food, kids, and pets starting on day one through your chosen coverage term. For adjustable bed bases, Extend provides extended coverage for frame, mechanical, and electrical failures.

All bedding (including mattresses, foundations, adjustable bases, pillows, and other products) is ineligible for refund once it is delivered and accepted in the customer's home or leaves the store on a customer pick-up.

We do not sell used mattresses or box springs. Period. We have a longstanding policy of treating all of our customers with the utmost concern for your health, wellbeing, and peace of mind. When you, a member of your family, or a guest in your home, lie down in a new bed purchased from Mattress Warehouse online or from one of our retail store locations it is exactly that: New. Any mattress/box spring returned for a warranty issue or which has failed the manufacturer’s own comfort guarantee program is promptly shredded and never returned to Mattress Warehouse inventory. These simple but important policies are your assurance that your purchase will secure a product or products that comply with the highest health standards we would all expect of the bedding products we bring into our homes. It’s that simple. Like our simple, easy-to-understand shipping policy, we believe buying a mattress online should always be this easy.
